Well two more days and I will have finished a painting a day for 100 days. I still can hardly believe how fast the time went by. I am overjoyed really that I have accomplished so much. Today's painting is day ninety eight and this is a chameleon.
When we lived in Africa the children would often come by our house and try to sell us things. From cactus fruit to gum to chameleons. I always thought they were fascinating and they would always bring some different color fabrics so you could see how the chameleon would change to fit the fabric colors. It was amazing how they would blend in. We would always beg our mom to buy us one but she never did. We did occasionally buy some cactus fruit but no live animals of any kind. Except for our one dog Monster. When the children would come by to sell wares' they would sing .. Americana Fay Fay .. I spelled it the way that it sounded to my ear. We would always run to see what they had to sell .. children from two very different worlds. We loved parts of theirs and they loved parts of ours.
If you love this painting which took me many hours today while I enjoyed talking with my two boys today on the phone almost the entire time I painted. It was well more than an hour, infact it was about four .. email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. See you tomorrow and the next day. ")
My thoughts, photography, drawings, weavings, sewing, fiber dyeing, stitching, painting. All things that move me.

Day 95 and Frog faces
Well today is day 95 and there are now only 5 left to go. It's been amazing really. I really just find myself enjoying the painting and I spend a good bit of time on each of these paintings and even though I try to limit that I enjoy it so much that I put more and more into each one. Somehow the maps just seem to make a great background for the creatures that I have been painting on them. These guys have such personality with their big big eyes. and what appears to be a big smile. This is a tree frog but I've come across many toads in my life. One my dog got to messing with and I rescued it from her grip.. the toad just sort of sat there as if it were dead and then much later it was gone. I hoped that it was just resting and playing possom and that is what I hope and believe. And i've imagined it hopping away when the coast was clear enough to leave.
If you would love to own this cute frog face just email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. And have a great day. See you tomorrow!

Day 75 Mending my heart with Stitches and Tears.
Today is day 75 and woohoooo .. it's not midnight and I'm still tired but .. it's not a torturous attempt to get the portrait done before the clock strikes twelve and I turn into a pumpkin again....
I have done stitching on faces before but I really want to try to combine two things here .. actually three. This is rusted denim that I have painted a portrait on and then I have stitched threads in sashiko style stitching. I really love how this looks .. and so this marks my three fourths of the way through. I have only twenty five days left to paint portraits. It's amazing really that I have gone so far .. and I have learned so much.
A note to my self..... I see you.... .. I hear your heart and I know that you are having a hard time saying goodbye to things.. that held the happiness and love of a mother .. the things that she surrounded herself with to make her happy.
What I notice is that my dad has built a new house with no sign of my mother. His words are there is nothing feminine. He misses my mother, he feels strange in the new house, there is something missing... no longer the touch of his wife. No longer the things surrounding them that she loved. Her energy is not there.. he misses the familiarity of his old home. The sunshine on the river water .. even though he didn't sit and gaze at it.. it was always out the window. I notice that it is never expected all these feelings that he struggles with. He didn't think this would happen. He thought it would make it easier..but he doesn't feel her presence in the new place .. not that things embodied her but that you saw her in the color of the pillows.. you saw her in the arrangement of the art. You saw her in the flower's that sat in every corner, on tables and over doors and windows.. all of that is gone. I don't think we think about that.. I really don't know for sure what causes these attachments to things that I struggle with my self. We are selling a lot of things .. and I have a looming sense of fear that something will go away that I should have taken .. or that I should not sell.? Where does this come from? I don't know .. it's holding on .. .it's pain. All I can do is cry .. they are just things. They are just things ... I know she is in my heart.. Perhaps that's the mending in this portrait.. Mending my heart with stitches and tears.
I may not part with this portrait either .. but if you would love to own this one send me an email at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. Thanks for stopping over and I'll see you tomorrow.

Day 72 and Heidi
Well I guess there is a first for everything.. this is about 27 minutes after midnight .. whaaaaa .. But today I went over to help get things ready at my dads house for a sale to empty some of the contents of their home since moving to a new house. So i didn't start first thing this morning and then I was distracted with all the things that I WANTED to do before leaving my house to participate in an art walk in the town where I live. I went to that and after my friend met me there and asked if I wanted to go out after .. i should have said no but I really wanted to go .. So we went to a pizza place and I actually started this painting at the restuarant. I asked Heidi if she would mind being my pizza friend. I decided to leave the previous sentence because this is what happens when you are very tired.. I didn't ask Heidi if she would be my pizza friend I asked her if she would be my model and she said yes and so I started this on a pizza box first. and then came home and tried to finish it.IT's not my betst work but it iwill be oke fot the first real miss .. whaaaa .. if you want to own her, email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com I'm going to bed now .. I hope she likes how I portrayed her.Ok have a great day!!!
I am back this morning to see what travesty of writing occurred here .. I really can't focus or write worth a beans when I am tired. I said I wouldn't do this anymore but look I did it .. sheesh. I was talking to my friend Heidi about the daily portrait and said .. hmmm I could start this here and I could maybe ask the waitress if they would mind donating a pizza box to my daily painting effort. So this is the largest portrait of all of them. On the outside of a decorated pizza box. Hopefully my friend Heidi who is very thoughtful and supportive of me an my work will love my interpretation of her .. she is a beautiful soul and a beautiful woman. “I hope you will go out and let stories, that is life, happen to you, and that you will work with these stories... water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom.” Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Now I had put this quote on a previous post but it somehow got here when I cut and pasted this edited part of my post.. so I'll just leave it. Because last night there was laughter when life happened in the pizza shop with Heidi and another friend and me. Life is good.

Day 48 and still going
Day 48..
oh dear .. i may be getting a bit bored .. aaaacckkk!!! I'm not sure what it means .. but I do still love to paint faces. There is a thing I think with artists, that you paint something until you are done with it. I have over fifty days to go yet till I am done painting faces. I may have to mix it up a bit.
I have some ideas in the works, in fact that is often my downfall. I have too many ideas. I don't know if they are going to be successful or not but that doesn't really matter. The best part is that I just keep going on . ..I'm committed and the daily practice has proved beneficial to me in so many ways. I had a wonderfully validating experience with showing several of my completed faces to someone in person. That .. did a lot for my confidence. I think even stacking up the paintings and seeing them all there in a pile....it stands for many hours of creativity. Lots of writing even.
I have found that my contact with Josephine is really having a huge impact on me. So far away and yet we can email and have immediate communication. I find it amazing and she tells me her hopes for the children and I have asked her to send me photos of the children drawing faces. She said that she is amazed that they seem to want to do this. I LOVE THAT >>>> I love that they are now asking their friends to sit still so they can do a portrait. The thing about children that is amazingly wonderful is their way of seeing what they see. There eyes are fresh and unafraid .. there are no mistakes. There are no mistakes. Your hope and desire or passion about your attempts to draw are seen in the work. I believe that. So .. i hope to share some of the children's drawings with you in the days to come. This part of what I'm doing .. makes me feel truly inspired .. filled with gratitude. I want for the children to have what ever the children need. So I will urge you yet again to go to ChildUG.org and make a donation.
To the children .. i love your drawings .. keep drawing, keep going. You have my heart!!!
If you would like to purchase today's portrait a portion of the sale of this face will go to ChildUG.org. I am also committed to doing that here on out. Email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. This is painted on papers that my mother saved in a lifetime of collecting and i have put them together with a sewing machine and painted on them. This face is approximately 8 x 10. See you tomorrow.!!!

Day 38 and better late then never
Another file seperator .. today I just had to have the day to my self.. so the painting got done later then usual. I have to do it every day .. This face looks like an alien to me haha. I found these letters while going through my mom's things and no one wanted them so I claimed them .. So for whatever reason I added the word sing to this face. And it has another added feature .. there is a map of Georgia on it also.
I am finding that I am amazed by the validation I get that my thinking isn't always correct. I have to constantly practice letting go .. Really, there are some really wonderful things going on and I will reveal them as they happen.
So for these words sing .. I'll tell a funny little story that it makes me think of. While living in Africa and attending a small military installation American school, the last year we were there I was in the fifth grade. I had an eccentric teacher that was male and an artist but he taught all subjects. There were always alot of art projects around the different subjects we covered. His name was Mr. Ludwig. He had a silver ear cleaner. Just saying that makes me laugh. This day I came to school we all were going to the library. I quietly went along with all the other children and when we got there he asked me if I had my book. I forgot, was my middle name back then. This was my answer to him and he was clearly not happy with me for doing that so he yelled for me to go back to the classroom. Which I did. The rest of the students got to stay in the library to do whatever they were doing and I had to go back to class. The teacher followed me and I just sat at my desk doing nothing while he pleased himself reading something. This was my punishment. While sitting there .. a teacher came into the room. I could hear the conversation. It was about the future visit of the Emperor to the school. They needed some children to sing some songs to him. They would have to learn an Amharic song and they would have to be able to carry a tune. Then I heard him ask if he knew any children that could sing. I did sing in the choir. I decided to sing out my own praises .. I CAN SING .. i yelled across the room. My teacher swung around and said "you can???" I said "yes I sing in the choir" My teacher said "well be at room 12 at 2 pm today and you better not disappoint me and sing good. I was so excited and I couldn't believe my luck. Imagine what a lesson that was .. I was grateful that my forgetfulness got me such a neat opportunity. I also got to go to the downtown market and have a traditional dress made for me and of course I know that song still today. I'd sing it for you if you asked me to.
So even though it's the end of the day .. I still painted my face of the day on Day 38. So today's portrait is $38. IF you would like to have the girl with a sing .. on your wall email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. Have a good night .. See you tomorrow ..

Gabriela Day 23 of 100 faces in 100 days
When I lived in Africa with my parents I was young. I lived there from the time I was five years old until I was eleven. My memories of those years are rich with happiness. The people that we met there were nothing less than interesting and most were fascinating. I named this face Gabriela I tried to remember what she looked like and I am sure it doesn't look like her but I invoked her spirit into the painting and wanted to tell the story of how she was part of our experience in Africa. I don't know how my mom met her. My mother wanted to learn Italian so that she could get around better there as most of the shop owners were Italian and we traveled alot in Italy on our way home to the states every summer. So Gabriela came to our home once a week. Sometimes she would bring gifts to my sister and brother and I. I think the dolls are still in a box somewhere in my moms home. I was trying to remember why I thought of Gabriela today. Then I remembered that I found a letter that she wrote to my mom after we came back home to live in the US. I put it in with the wrapping paper canvas for today.. i think you can barely make out some hand written words on her eye on the left side. She was beautiful and friendly and always smiling. I loved her name, it seemed to roll off the tongue so sweetly, so Italian .. Gabriela ........I will never forget her..
Ok so I'm off with sister again today .. she is here cleaning while I am typing asking me what I am doing .. so i have to go .. lol .. makes me laugh. I love her totally and for always..
If you would like this portrait today for $23 please send me an email at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. If you have a mind too I would love it if you would share my project with your friends or family. I hope you have a great day and thanks for following me on this interesting journey.
My tooth feels better .. :)

Girl with the Hat Day 22 of 100 faces in 100 days
Well the temptation here is to be critical, heavens knows that I have been. She's a little odd looking with the red cheeks but it's all an experiment in front of who ever is looking here. That is how I am viewing this experiment. I wanted to see how exposing the back ground colors more would look .. It's ok but odd appearance. So .. that was the plan .....
Who is she? She is from an old family photo of a school graduation. She looks like the teacher because she looks the oldest and all the other children are holding what appear to be diplomas. She is not.
My grandfather is one of the boys holding a rolled up document. He is very handsome and all the young people are wearing suits with crisp white shirts that have cardboard stiff collars. The boys all have ties and the girls are dressed in white. My grandfather is the only one wearing a carnation on his lapel. The teacher is wearing a dark suit that looks like it is a little too big for her small frame. And she is wearing a hat slightly tilted on her head. She looks smart, vulnerable and confident. I kind of feel like she is saying "well, I did my best." When I look at this photo I wonder what it was like for these people at the time the photo was snapped? My grandfather looks innocent. He grew up to be a hard working farmer who made his children and everyone near him very unhappy. I suspect at the time of this photo he wasn't planning that. His teacher doesn't appear to be mean even though my painting of her appears hard in some way. I think she looks messy but she doesn't look messy in the photo. Today's painting is just what I did today. It is interesting to see them all on the page at once. Not going for perfection .. well maybe a little .. but just letting it be what it is. A painting on wrapping paper.
I'm tired today .. and I have a tooth bothering me ..
Thank you as always for stopping over to my blog. Have a fabulous day. If you are interested in the Girl with the Hat .. email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com. see you tomorrow .. haha

Twenty One Days of Painting Faces for One Hundred Days
Breath .. just breath. So far so good. Today i'm stressed out...not because it's day 21 of posting a new face. It's because I haven't gotten real people models for my painting .. and .. I'm in a hurry again. I can attest to the fact that painting in a hurry is NO FUN! So .....it's a work in progress how to go about this daily schedule of painting. Maybe it shows up in the work I don't know .........always i'm hardest on myself.
I do finally get to a point where I just say .....enough!
With these wrapping paper faces I always want some elements of the paper to show through .. I'm not sure that the orange in her lips shows up anymore but I did manage to keep the eyebrows their lovely green and she has a bow on her cheek .. I like these things. I think the best part about this process is that the more I paint the more ideas pop into my head about series of work or other things to paint. This is always brewing in the back ground of my mind.
So ......I guess like life there are ebbs and flows of feeling good and feeling other stuff .. today I have a head ache. But one silver lining .. i'm going to lunch with my sister .. so I'm going to take a chill pill and relax. I'll take my camera with me!!! Tomorrow I will be back here .. happily painting. Thanks for following along ..
This ia about 8"x 10" on sewn wrapping paper and painted with acrylic. Today's painting is $21. Please email me at iwilldream4ever@aol.com if you would like to own this face today. Thank you!

Bridget smile Day 19 of 100 faces in 100 days
One of the things I do when I want to have fun or be around people is to go thrift store shopping. I love to mill around and look for priceless treasures. It feels like treasure hunting to me especially when I get something for just a dollar.. i don't always buy something. I find that many of the workers in the thrift stores are volunteers and they're often very friendly. I get a conversation in here and there and this makes me happy.
I mentioned yesterday that I was thinking of doing something different with regards to the painting and I'd thought I might do portraits of people I run into during my day. While I was in the first thrift store yesterday a woman walked by me that looked familiar and she was friendly and said hello .. we both sort of thought the other looked familiar. We didn't know each other. Her smile was infectious. We had a little conversation going and I thought hmmmm and even though it was a bit out of my comfort zone I told her what I was doing, with painting 100 faces etc. and showed her some of my portraits and she was very sweet and said she embarassingly gushed over my faces and said she thought that yesterdays portrait looked like her room mate. Then i just popped out the question, "would you mind if I took a photo of you to paint? I'm looking for faces to paint." and she said "Yes" .. woo hooo .. i was so happy that she was willing. Then I realized the pressure .. would it look like her? Will she like how I interpret her face with paint? I had to remind myself that this was an exercise and most of all .. I met an amazingly joyful woman. Beautiful in her heart .. things that she spoke of touched my heart. As we stood at the counter paying for our trinkets (yes I bought something lol) I heard her say that she was needing a new book to read while she rode home on the bus. We chatted a few more minutes and meandered out the door then I asked if I could give her a ride home. She was excited and said where she lived .. not too far but too far to walk in the heat of the day though. So off we went......we talked about many things on that short ride to her house. One thing stuck with me.. she told me that she lived across the street from a church and her friends would often ask her why she didn't go to that church. She said, "my spirit won't let me go there, and I go where God leads my spirit." She was emphatic about this and there we were. She hugged me good bye and I was off with a smile in my heart.
So Ms. Bridget .. I hope that you love the portrait .. you gladdened my heart. Strong tall woman with a big smile. I hope I did it justice .. i'm finding that painting a smile is challenging. I'm not sure that you can get the sense of it in this photo but on the paper .. i see that smile and it makes me smile. Thank you for being my model.
And yes today's portrait is approximately 8 x 10 not always straight on all sides .. it's machine stitched wrapping paper and painted in acrylic. Today's painting is $19 ...Contact me or leave a comment if you would like to purchase today's painting. Thanks for following me on this journey. Have a fabulous day!!!

Day 11 hmmmmmm
I have to keep reminding myself that everything is ok. Even mistakes or works I wish were better. Maybe that mind set or fear of not being good enough interferes i don't know. Maybe they don't get better and better.. i sense that pressure that they should be.
I get tired of hearing my thoughts haha. Maybe you do too if your reading my posts.
I may have to mix it up a bit to keep myself motivated to keep painting.
Maybe some days it's best to just make less words.
Either way it's REALLY all Good.. I just love that so far .. yes only day 11 but i'm still doing it. Someone emailed me and said they would be bored doing the same thing every day for 100 days but I assure you I am not just painting. Maybe I can post some in between posts of what I sandwich in between these portraits.
I've been volunteering at a lady's church bazaar too .. painting silly images and stitching things like purses and bracelets. I enjoy that experience. I've even been knitting and crocheting .. :) Thanks for stopping over. Blessings to you. Oh and just a reminder today's portrait is for sale .. acrylic on rusted fabric .. this one has a few holes in it so those are no extra .. i usually say they are extra. haha .. about 7" x 11" . let me know if your interested. :) The price is the day number.

Day 10 and still going
Day 10 and the temptation is to judge my work. Or if it isn't just how I wanted it to turn out .. or what i'd wished I done better or whatever, is always in my head. So I am being self critical. There is a saying that I hear from time to time, "f you see it you got it".. or another one that says "you cannot see in other's what is not inside of you". If you see things in others then you have this trait in yourself. I've also heard that if you judge yourself you probably judge others this same way. This pokes me, because I don't wish to be judgmental. Then I can take it one step further .. how I wish to be with people in general is compassionate and loving with kindness in my heart. So I can practice compassion and loving kindness with myself. Today's face feels like a loving smile on my heart. I have to constantly tell myself that it is enough. My heart can be loved ...i am worth loving.
I have to say this sharing like this is a bit like cracking open the door to my closet. haha .. I fear judgement. Either way I am enjoying the process, even though I may proceed with caution. ha And the most difficult part about today's portrait was the smile ... you have no idea how easily a line can make a smirk or a oddly strange expression. I also know that everyone see's the images with their own filters. Today I see love. And this feels good for me.
Thank you for stopping over. It is for sale so if your interested ..send me a message here or email me or comment on my facebook page, My Art of Hearts. I am trying to add as many likes on that page as I can, so more people will see what I'm doing. The more the merrier right? Have a love filled day!

Day 9 and going with it ..
Well .. today i was rushing .. just being honest. I always want to love every painting like they are something from me that is a creation .. i know it will sound silly but i do get attached to each little one. I want to put my heart and soul into each one .. so today i'm off to have some fun and i could have waited till later .. but i like this morning ritual. Sometimes I just have to remind myself that this is a personal challenge for me .. to keep going, to practice what I do so love every single day.
Tomorrow will be more words. i'm loving this process so far..
This as all the others for sale day number is the price and it is 6" x7" on rusted fabric painted with acrylic paint.
Have a fabulous day!!!

7th Day of 100 faces in 100 days
Well looking back on yesterday given the situation the day before that .. i guess i was really just completely saddened by everything........and it's just a horrible feeling to feel powerless. So the weight on my heart was heavy yesterday ...i felt as though i was feeling some of the collective sadness in the world...nearly overwhelming. I suppose its a lesson in taking better care during those times. Perhaps some meditation in the garden would have been good. A long chat with my neighbor was welcome relief. So i see that in today's portrait there seems to still be some lingering sadness. Who doesn't have some of that...?
I am still excited about pushing myself to do this..i know it can and already has had an effect that is positive and good so far and we are only on day seven.
So .. thanks for the friends that poked me yesterday when i was really feeling down and made me laugh or just get by.
I have lots of good ideas percolating in my brain. And I look forward to the mornings of painting. And these as always are for sale .. days are the price so today's face is $7. Leave me a comment or email me and it's yours! Thanks for watching. oh and this is 7" x 11" on rusted fabric. :) oh and if you are on facebook .. I'd love it if you would like my page.

Day 6 .. of 100 faces in 100 days.. what I think
Ok .. not hyper realistic.. it is an experiment and doing today's painting I had a lot going on in my head. So I decided to just do that .. not pretty I guess. SO here's what comes up .. i think everyone wants to see pretty pictures. I want everyone to love me .. so i want everyone to like what I paint. Sometimes i take myself way to seriously .. I want artist friends to like my work and some do but many don't say anything. I think what they think .. or let me say I tell a story to myself about why they do or do not do something I want. When I put it out there like this I realize how ridiculous that sounds. So I really just want to be honest with myself .. when I went onto facebook this morning I really didn't want to post this image. I really thought .. well they (who are they?) are not going to love this, because it's not a beautiful face .. not lovely .. not refinely finished. I judge myself pretty harshly .. i write letters and get no response and I imagine what they think .. i assure you it isn't good what i imagine their reasons are. I get angry.. and no one likes to be around angry negative people. So .. why does it come up that way? Change is hard.. not sure how I can only paint pretty pictures. I'm just putting out my honest feelings. I want things to be different for me. Not be so serious. I do love painting and I love faces and eyes. Doesn't every person even the ones that dont look like magazine images of beautiful men and women want to be loved for who they are. I can be angry about that but in the end i picture me stomping my feet and wanting to scream just love me .. and i can't see people running up to that. So .. do you tell people that? Or just don't ever really tell the truth and hope you'll get better at enjoying your life and what is around you. So .. thanks for stopping over and reading my rant today if you did. Tomorrow's another day .. it's only day six in this experiment ..hmmmm lots more days to go. haha..

Day 5 of 100 Faces in 100 days
This morning a friend called while I was in the middle of painting day 5's painting and asked if i wanted to go somewhere.. i thought .. o.......no .......i have to finish this. I could do it later. No .. got to get this done. Then I hear the pressure in my head that today's painting must be better better better ..than yesterdays. So it's interesting to notice these things. IT's not about being better.. it's about doing another one and getting into the routine of daily painting. Most day's I end up doing alot of other art as well .. so for me it's about Inertia. The definition of which is a resistance to any physical object to change it's state of motion or lack of motion. I want my state to be moving, continuing to paint, create, make. I notice the resistance .......i am enjoying however the process. Mostly having to notice what's in my head which is always processing and thinking. Now .. i'm going to head to the beach and .....walk and enjoy the sand and sun. This is today's painting .. Girl 5. for sale for $5. on rusted fabric about 7 x 10 inches. Thanks for stopping by .. could always use the encouragement. Thanks. :)

Day 4 of my personal challenge to paint 100 faces in 100 days.
So little it seems to say ........i am finding that this challenge is at least giving me something to look forward too every day. I do love painting faces. I do find that i wonder how they stack up, finding i want to be grouped in with other artists or feel as important or as good as or something. I want to be positive and I guess that the painful truth is lately I am so negative .. so rather than talk about that part. I am really happy with the results so far. I am enjoying the process and what it will teach me. I am excited about the results it will give me and my drawing/painting skills.
Thought i'd just put it out there .. i am thinking i'll just make extra and post more then one time a day .. maybe they don't all have to be painted. I did say 100 faces .. not 100 painted faces. hmmmmmmm
well it is good to just have a record of what I'm doing here. I paint a while and now i'm going to do some stitching . ... stitching feels like melodic therapy to me. I'll post those results if i get any. Thanks for stopping over to read my ramblings.
The face is about 71/2 by 11 and is acrylic paint on rusted fabric. Send me an email if you would like to purchase it. Every day the price will go up a dollar.. the day is the price. I'd love to read your comments. I post these on FB too on my page https://www.facebook.com/MyArtOfHearts?ref_type=bookmark to try to keep myself accountable to my friends. I'd love it if you would like my page. I seem to need the motivation of saying it out loud to the world to get myself going .. jumping in with faith. Hoping you will notice if something doesn't continue .. hoping you will spur me on. Hoping i won't need it and i'll just do it ........cause i love too. .....:)

100 Faces in 100 days
Ok .. i have been having some rough patches this year and my motivation has been sorely lacking. I have so many varied interests in types of artistic media. I love fabric, I love dying fabric or manipulating it to create weirdness .. i love weirdness. I love the texture of fabric, I love to draw and I love to paint. I love to break the rules.(one's i somewhere learned along the way). I never know for sure where to start where to put all my energy. I love to sew my own clothes. So .. I'm going to try an experiment. I watched a video about an awesome artist that lives in Oregon .. Jolie Guillebeau. on Cory Huff's website Creative Insurgents. I loved what she had to say about painting after she finished school and wanted to call herself an artist. She decided to paint 100 paintings a day. So that is what i have decided to do also. I posted them first on FB and decided I would go ahead and make myself accountable to everyone here and maybe just maybe i'll be able to get here every day and do the same .. posting every day. To start the challenge off I sat down to paint my one painting and did three.. I will sell each one of these for one dollar for the first day and so on. I am going to go ahead and offer all three at one dollar each. I plan only to do one a day from here on out. I have said I was going to do something or get back to posting more .. for toooooo long and not doing it so .. here goes!!!
I intend to be as fair as possible and sell them to whomever contacts me first. I'll try to update in the comments if there is anything available or sold ..
If you would be so kind as to share my posting with your friends if anyone wants to follow along on my experiment. Ask them to follow me here. I would be so grateful or follow my facebook page.
I love faces and so this will be fun. These are painted on rusted fabric and are about 9 inches x 9 inches. Drawn with paint markers and acrylic paint. They can be stitched onto something or just left the way they are .. your choice. They make me happy!!!
Thanks for stopping by and do leave a comment to encourage me to keep going. I need the momentum right now .. thank you so much. I am trying to make myself accountable to do what i love. To live the dream that I want to live. Making art every day and making a living at it. Goodness and love to everyone that passes this way ..
